Marcband is a not-so-serious garage rock band from Sydney. Formed by three close friends, Marcband isn’t about getting a big break, It is all about bonding over music. Based on this, I experimented with shapes of soundwaves, using those created by each of the band members names as part of illustrated profiles for each of them, while using those created by “Marcband” as a device over the top of illustrations that capture their laidback attitude and their spiritual home.
